On April 4, 2025, in Surkhandarya region, the Customs Service of the region held a training seminar for customs officials with the participation of employees of the Surkhandarya region of the SEMC. During the event, measures to prevent the illegal import of radio equipment and high-frequency devices across the customs border of the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed.
During the training seminar, the participants received detailed information on how, together with the customs authorities, measures should be taken in case of detection of illegal import of radio equipment and high-frequency devices, organize propaganda and explanatory work, document offenses and take legal measures.
In addition, during the seminar, employees of the Surkhandarya SEMC region emphasized the need to organize events aimed at identifying illegal activities related to radio equipment and high-frequency devices in the Surkhandarya region, as well as ensuring documentation of the identified offenses.
Special attention was paid to ensuring active cooperation between customs officials and EMS, exchange of experience and implementation of effective measures to eliminate illegal activities.
