In accordance with the action plan for 2024 on organizing control over compliance with the procedure for the acquisition (issuance), sale and (or) installation (construction), import, use of radio electronic equipment and high-frequency devices, as well as on the interaction of ministries and departments in eliminating radio interference, employees of the Samarkand regional branch of the Uzkomnadzor inspection under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and specialists of the electromagnetic compatibility service of the Samarkand region of the State Unitary Enterprise CEMC on October 8 of this year jointly carried out operational activities in the city of Samarkand and the Pastdargom district.
As a result of radio monitoring activities, the owner of 2 mobile amplifiers (repeaters) was identified, which do not have certificates of conformity and create radio interference to base stations of mobile operators operating in the Samarkand region.
In addition, legal entities were identified that were illegally using 11 Baofeng “BF-888S” electronic devices without the appropriate permits.
Based on the identified violations, the internal affairs officers drew up an “Act on the seizure of material evidence” on radio-electronic equipment and sent the documents to the territorial department of the Uzkomnadzor inspection under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Samarkand region for taking measures in accordance with the procedure established by law.
