In Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, from May 20 to 23, 2025, the 35th meeting of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC) and the 9th meeting of the RCC Coordination Council on Informatization is taking place.
Today, a joint 63rd/31st meeting of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations of the Commonwealth participants and the Coordination Council of the CIS member states on Informatization under the RCC is being held.
During the meeting, it is planned to conduct:
• the election of the Chairperson of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations;
• the appointment of deputy chairpersons of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations;
• the ceremony of signing the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications regarding the conditions for the opening of the Executive Committee's Office of the RCC in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan.
• discussions of important international events in the field of communications, according to the agenda of the meeting;
Consideration of pressing issues of the digital development strategy, the creation and prospects for the development of IT hubs, the development of communications infrastructure, and the establishment of fair roaming conditions between our countries.
It is also planned to consider issues related to the activities of the Commonwealth and the functioning of the sectoral cooperation bodies of the CIS countries.
