On December 15, 2025, a round table on "ANTI-CORRUPTION CULTURE: FROM THOUGHT TO ACTION" was organized at the Jizzakh Regional SEMS building with the participation of the Head of the Legal Information Department of the Jizzakh Regional Justice Department, Sh.
During the round table, it was noted that the most important and sustainable way to combat corruption is to form an anti-corruption culture, and the most effective method is to cultivate honesty in the consciousness, thinking, and worldview of a person.
What is anti-corruption culture?
Anti-corruption culture is the relationship between society and the individual based on the principle of complete rejection of corruption.
It includes the following elements:
• zero tolerance for corruption;
• legal knowledge and awareness;
• standards of personal and professional honesty;
• culture of public control;
• recognition of justice as a priority value.
In other words, anti-corruption culture is not only compliance with laws, but also an inner readiness to live honestly.
At the end of the round table, opinions and proposals were heard regarding the consistent measures being implemented by the government, ministries, and agencies to suppress corruption, as well as their practical implementation.
