A Special Tactical Civil Defense Drill Held at the “Electromagnetic Compatibility Center” SUE

On May 14, 2025, the “Electromagnetic Compatibility Center” State Enterprise conducted a scheduled special tactical civil defense drill. The main objective of the event was to enhance preparedness against potential emergencies, ensure effective prevention, and improve coordination between resources and responsible units to eliminate consequences.

The training was held under the theme:

“Elimination of consequences of natural and man-made emergencies and improvement of coordination between management bodies and cooperating services.”

Key objectives of the drill included:

 1. Improving the alert system and organizing efficient mobilization of management and civil defense structures;

 2. Ensuring effective deployment of forces and means during natural and man-made emergencies;

 3. Enhancing coordination between the enterprise’s civil defense units, law enforcement agencies, and partner services, as well as the practical use of equipment and resources;

 4. Strengthening the practical understanding of the functional responsibilities of the EMC Center’s personnel and increasing their readiness to respond to emergencies;

 5. Developing strong moral and psychological qualities within civil defense personnel.

Participants included the enterprise administration, the civil defense headquarters, staff of relevant services and divisions, and the evacuation group.

Also actively participating were representatives from the Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations, the Yashnobod District Department of Security, the Yashnobod District Police Department, the Tashkent City Emergency Medical Service, “Hududgazta’minot” JSC, and “Regional Electric Grids” JSC.

The drill featured practical exercises such as responding to a simulated emergency, evacuating people to safe zones, using protective equipment, and coordinating rescue operations. Experience was shared on prompt response, providing aid to victims, and restoring safety at the facility.

At the end of the drill, participants reviewed and analyzed their actions, discussed shortcomings, and received practical recommendations for improvement.

Such drills are crucial in raising employee awareness, strengthening operational skills, and ensuring high-level preparedness for emergencies.
